On Dec. 6, 2013, the scientific and technical achievement appraisal meeting for Key Technology of Heavy Metal Smelting Ascontaining Solid Waste Management and Resource Utilization project was held and organized by China Nonferrous Metals Industry Association in Beijing. The tutor, Professor Zhou Xiaoyuan of CINF postdoctoral research station cooperation R&D centre attended the appraisal meeting.

Aimed at the current serous pollution and resource waste situations of heavy metal smelting Ascontaining solid waste, as pollution flow model and as removal & retention process were established and realized large scale industrial application in nonferrous industry. The project is another state’s ‘863 program’ CINF have accomplished after the establishment of postdoctoral research station cooperation R&D centre.
