An iron removal unit in the Zn hydrometallurgical process
Page view:
This invention discloses an iron removal unit in the zinc hydrometallurgical process. The outlet of the fluidizedbed roaster is connected via the neutral leaching tank to the first solidphase separator inlet, the outlet of the first solidphase separator is connected through the hot acid reduction tank to the second solidliquid separator inlet, the bottom outlet of the second solidliquid separator is connected to the flotation cell inlet, while the first outlet of the flotation cell is connected to the is connected to the abovementioned Zn concentrate inlet in the fluidizedbed roaster. The second outlet of the flotation cell is connected to the fumining furnace inlet. The side outlet of the second solidliquid separator is connected through the neutral tank to the press filter inlet. The first outlet of the press filter is connected to the reactor inlet, the reactor outlet is connected through the flash tank to the inlet of the third solidliquid separator. One outlet of the fuming furnace is connected to the preneutralizing tank inlet. This new unit is characterized by high Fe removal efficiency, low Zn loss, high Zn recovery and lower OPEX.
