This invention discloses a process of oxygen enriched air sideblown, Cu and Ni bath smelting. The process covers the main circuit of lump material crushing and screening, ROM bin, blending, oxygenenriched sideblown smelting, slag impoverishment, converter converting, high matte Ni granulation and product packing. This process is characterized by short circuit and low capex, full utilization of the autogenous oxidation reaction heat of the CuNi concentrate, distinct energysaving result with only a little fuel added for smelting, simple charge preparation, large smelting intensity and high specific hearth productivity. In view of oxygen enriched air blasted during the smelting, the outlet offgas contains high SO2,as is good for S in the raw material to be recycled and eliminate the environmental pollution.
