The project is located in Pingguo, Guangxi Province. It belongs to the Guangxi Branch of Chinalco. In 2007, CINF began to undertake the reconnaissance on the 20km2 sedimentary bauxite mine of Taiping area. Based on the 1:5000 geological mapping and geological drillings, CINF ascertained the orebody distribution features in plane and profile, lithological and distribution characters of the orebody hanging wall and footwall, the distribution range of orebody outcrop, occurrence, continuity and sedimentary bauxite occurrence horizon.
