The project is located in Pingguo, Guangxi province, owned by Guangxi Branch of CHINALCO. It is the first to develop a Karst accumulated type bauxite deposit in the world. CINF is the first to develop the mining and rehabilitation technology and the first to develop the large trommel washer and launder washer for fine siltbearing accumulative bauxite. The new process of multistage orewashing developed in the project has solved the problem on these ores which are difficult to wash. The project has reached and overfulfilled the design capacity in a short time when it was started up and is in a world leading level.
