The project is located in Jinchuan, Gansu Province, owned by Jinchuan Group Co., Ltd. The design capacity is 3,000kt/a and it’s an underground mine. The coppernickel sulfide mine is an oversized deposit in China. The rocks are unstable and fractured and the crustal stress is high. The first super kilometer hoisting shaft in China is set up by special support and reinforcement method here. The mining technology is downward hexagon drift cutandfill stoping and slurry cementing filling. The project has been running with safety and stability for many years with various indicators up to China’s leading level.
