The project is based on the “Two Ores” method for continuous leaching and chemical combination, threestage continuous purification, SO2 method of electrolysis to produce the highpurity lowselenium electrolytic manganese metal; and it also produces the mercuryfree alkaline manganese electrolytic manganese dioxide by continuous leaching and chemical combination, continuous purification and suspension electrolysis. The project was put into production in 2006. The economic indexes are advanced and the overall technology has reached international leading level. The project was awarded with the ministeriallevel first prize for excellent engineering design in 2010.
