The book is edited by Zhang Leru, the deputy chief engineer of CINF.
The book mainly describes the zinc sulfide concentrate direct smelting technology and zinc sulfide concentrate oxygen direct leaching technology which was developed and has been applied since 1980s, and it also describes over 20year advancement of ISP smelting technology and Zn hydrometallurgical technology. The book consists of 12 chapters with overall introduction of the technological features, process flowsheet, main equipment parameters, applicable conditions and technoeconomic indicators of various PbZn smelting new technologies. Analysis and discussion is also made on the PbZn smelting new technologies in terms of environmental protection, raw material flexibility, energysaving and resource comprehensive utilization.
