The project is located in Salta Province, Argentina, the "Lithium Triangle" of South America. It is divided into three parts: brine extraction area, processing plant area and tail brine reservoir. The brine extraction wells arranged in the brine extraction area extract brine and send it to the processing plant for adsorption and lithium extraction, and the tail brine is sent to the tail brine reservoir for storagevia the pumping station; The processing plant adopts the process route of adsorption + membrane separation and concentration + MVR evaporation crystallization to produce lithium chloride products, which is planned to be put into production in mid-2023. The lithium concentration of salt lake brine in the project is 0.502 g/L, the ratio of magnesium to lithium is 4, and the ratio of sodium to lithium is 90. After the adsorption and analysis solution is purified and concentrated by membrane method, the lithium concentration of lithium-rich brine is 13 g/L, thenevaporated, concentrated, crystallized and dried to obtain lithium chloride products.
