The Technical Renovation and Upgrading Project of Lithium Chloride With an Annual Output of 2,500 tons (LCE) in SDLA Salt Lake, Argentina
Page view:
The project uses lithium-rich brine produced in salt fields as raw material to produce lithium chloride products through the process route of lithium extraction by full membrane method, which is planned to be put into production in 2023. The main process adopts full membrane method to refine lithium chloride, saturated lithium chloride brine (lithium concentration ~ 60 g/L) is pretreated by ultrafiltration membrane to remove suspended impurities in brine, and the produced water of ultrafiltration is purified by membrane method through four-stage nanofiltration device; The residual calcium, magnesium and boron ions in brine were removed by combining resin, and then evaporated and crystallized to obtain lithium chloride crystalline product.
