Infrastructure exploration of Guinean Boffa bauxite mine
The design scale of Guinean Boffa bauxite mine is 12 million tons/year. Under various harsh conditions such as rampant overseas epidemic and local election turmoil, the project team of the company strictly guards against death and organizes scientifically. The accumulated drilling footage is more than 30,000 meters, and the amount of bauxite ore transported abroad is about 52 million tons, which provides reliable resource reserves for the sustainable development of the mine. The project adopts spiral waterless drilling technology, which significantly improves the exploration efficiency on the premise of ensuring the drilling quality. At the same time, the three-dimensional geological model of the deposit is established by using three-dimensional software, which greatly facilitates the production management and stope ore matching of the construction unit, and shows the rich overseas construction experience and first-class laterite bauxite exploration technology level of the company.

Bauxite exploration in Xiaolongmiao mining area, Mianchi County, Henan Province is one of the large-scale bauxite exploration projects completed by our company. The lithology of strata in mining area is complex, and there are many mined-out areas. In the process of exploration and construction, the company took the lead in adopting hydraulic thin-walled drilling tool rope coring technology in China, which has small construction area, convenient relocation and high core recovery rate. Combined with drilling work, transient electromagnetic method (TEM) is used to comprehensively explore mined-out areas, which can intuitively and accurately reflect the distribution of underground mined-out areas and provide more accurate guidance for future mining work. This project won the third prize of non-ferrous metal geological prospecting achievements of China Nonferrous Metals Industry Association in 2020.
EPC-based Anode Slime Pre-processing Project for Technical Upgrading of Gold and Copper Comprehensive Recovery Operation under Hunan Shui Kouhan Nonferrous Metals Group Co.,Ltd.
The project construction was started in June 2016 and was completed in 2017. It has an important demonstration and benchmarking effect on the comprehensive design and implementation of copper smelting projects. Innovation and optimization of process design: The integrate process of hydrometallurgy and pyrometallurgy is applied to process high-value anode slime rich in precious metals such as gold and silver with the capacity of 800t/a. The anode slime is filtered by a filter press. The filter residue is naturally oxidized before 2- stage concentrated sulfuric acid slurring and then sent to calcinations operation. The selenium dioxide in the off-gas is reduced by sulfur dioxide to produce crude selenium. The calcine is hot dipped . And active copper powder and copper wire is used for replacing silver in leachate. The products include crude selenium powder, crude silver powder, pretreatment slag and valuable metals such as gold, silver and selenium are effectively recovered.
Comprehensive treatment project of Xuetong ceramic soil obsolete mining area, Huangqi town, Xinfeng county, Shaoguan city, Guangdong.
The project belongs to the ecological restoration project of mountains, rivers, forests, fields, lakes and grass in Shaoguan City. The area of Xuetong obsolete mining ceramic soil comprehensive renovation is 560hm2. It adopts the active protection net, the anti-slide pile and other geological disaster prevention and control technologies. The project is a model of ecological restoration of abandoned mines which adopts world advanced high-performance ecological substrate spraying slope greening technology.
Coal, electricity and aluminum integration project of Wachangping bauxite mine for State Power Investment Corporation Limited, Zunyi, Guizhou.
The project is the first metal mine to adopt the longwall comprehensive mechanized mining technology. It has formed a production capacity of 3,000 t/d bauxite by “one shaft,one face and one set” of integrated mining equipment. It successfully solved problems and technological difficulties of roof corrosion development, water filling, safety, high-efficiency and low dilution loss of unstable and gentle-inclined thin-medium thick difficult-mining orebody, which adds a new mining technique for metal mining.
Laohudong Phosphate Mine Project of Weng 'an County Tianyi Mining Co., Ltd.
The designed mining and beneficiation capacity is 5,000kt/a. It is the single largest underground phosphate mine in China's chemical industry. New technologies of skip-shaft and auxiliary shaft development and transportation, upward horizontal slicing and filling mining method and upward drift filling mining method, self-gelling hemihydrate phosphogypsum plus tailings paste filling method and so on, are firstly adopted in the chemical mine to realize large-scale safe and efficient mining, which provides a new idea for phosphate mining.
Boffa Bauxite Project
The production capacity of the first phase is 12 million t/a. It is the “No. 1 Project” of Chinalco's “Two-sea Strategy” to build a bauxite overseas base and the first time to develop the high-efficient and green mining technology of low-latitude leaching residual bauxite. The design adopts the world advanced green and environmentally friendly open-pit mining technology that integrates mining, crushing and loading, the 24km large-scale, long-distance and high-speed cross-country belt conveying technology and the super-large advanced equipment. The project started in Oct., 2018, was put into production in Apr., 2020 and reached ramp-up and the standard in Jun., 2020.
Resources integration and development project of Jiaojia gold mineralization belt of Shandong Gold Group Co., Ltd.
The designed capacity of mining and beneficiation is 6,600kt/a. It is the largest underground mining project of gold industry in China, and also one of the key projects of Shandong Gold Group Co., Ltd. to build a world class gold production base. The project always implements the design concept of building a world-class demonstration mine, green ecological mine and intelligent mine, with the goal of building a world-class leader of "intelligent mine" and "ecological mining".
